Mirko is a graphic designer obsessed with detail. His work is driven by a passion for print, a love for the written word, and an adventurous approach to visual experimentation. He doesn’t stick to templates; he builds expressive design systems that push concepts into new territory. If you are looking for design that feels intentional, artistic, and authentic, you’ve come to the right place.

Professional Background
Mirko’s foundation in the field was solidified through academic studies in Graphic and Communication Design, which he completed in 2021 with a master’s degree. Throughout this period, his work maintained a consistent focus on the integration of illustration, graphic design, and book design, allowing for the development of a versatile and technically grounded design vocabulary.

Beyond his personal creative output, Mirko is also invested in the academic discourse of design. He has been teaching at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld (HSBI), where he worked in close collaboration with Professors Dirk Fütterer and Nils Hoff.

He has been recognized for its conceptual rigor and aesthetic impact by international design institutions. In 2019, he received an ADC Award for his contribution to the Annual Report for the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, together with a team of students led by Prof. Dirk Fütterer.

Prior to this, his work was honored with both an iF Design Award in 2018 and a Red Dot Design Award in 2017. These accolades were earned for collaborative illustration work on the BRAIN AG Annual Report 2015/16, a project realized alongside Jennifer Voigt under the creative direction of Bettina Schreiner.

Since graduating, he has been working as a freelance graphic designer and book designer. His work includes various book projects, experience in animation, and poster design.

These experiences have shaped a professional approach that combines industry-standard precision with an unwavering commitment to artistic excellence.
